Camp Stew, aka “Brunswick” was often made over a campfire in hunting and fishing camps, traditionally with wild game.
Directions: Pour contents of jar into cooking pot, adding 1/2 jar of stock, tomato juice or water and cooked meats- chicken, pork, ground beef, or game with a tsp. of butter. Add additional vegetables as desired. Bring to boil, then simmer stirring often. Serve over cooked rice or add dumplings. Season to taste and enjoy.
Ingredients: Potatoes, tomatoes, onions, water, lima beans,
corn, vinegar, anchovies, cloves, tamarind extract, chili pepper extract, lemon juice, soy protein, yeast extract, maltodextrin (from corn), canola oil,
salt, pepper, spices, butter, citric acid.
